The Day After I-64/40 Reopens, MODOT Communications Director Speaks

While brainstorming topics for the Community Service Public Relations Council’s December luncheon, we looked at what would be in the news at the time. We thought the second phase of the I-64/40 might open in late December. Perhaps more than any other community project in St. Louis, the closure and rebuilding of the Interstate created the largest and most challenging communications project of our time.

If luck is the residue of hard work, the efforts of the CSPRC Board to provide quality programs is rewarded with great timing. The day after the Interstate is scheduled to reopen, Linda Wilson, the Community Relations Director for the Missouri Department of Transportation will speak at the CSPRC luncheon:

When: Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009; 11:30 a.m. to noon: registration and networking; noon to 1:15 p.m.: lunch and program
Cost: Members: $25; non-members: $35; students: $20
Where: Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel, 7730 Bonhomme Ave., St. Louis, MO 63105

Now, the CSPRC, like so many other organizations, can remove the link for directions to avoid the highway construction from all web pages and e-mail invitations.
